THE FRIDGE ART CALENDAR
IS HERE. Support children's art and those in need. Purchase a 2006 Fridge Art Calendar to show your support for children’s art. Profits will be donated to Our Lady’s Missionaries (OLM) to help them support the poor and least privileged in their missions around the world. As a Design Coach, one of the first recommendations we make when helping a family get their house ready to sell, is they should remove all distractions. This includes clearing off their fridge. And usually that’s where families proudly display their children’s artwork. In essence, we're asking them to temporarily close their family’s art gallery. This makes us feel sad. These highly talented and enthusiastic children teach us resilience, patience and unbounded freedom of expression through their artwork. Kids’ artwork is so bright, honest, uninhibited and creative. It should be on display. So this year, to honour all those kids whose artwork we temporarily displaced, DesignStyleTaste.com dedicates our calendar to their ‘Fridge Art’.

 Click image to view next month.The artwork in this year’s calendar has been donated by the children whose families we coached through the Home Staging experience. With calendar profits going to Our Lady’s Missionaries, they will be helping children who don’t have the conveniences and security of home that we enjoy in Canada. Our heartfelt thanks for their donations and we hope they enjoy their calendar fame, and their families and friends enjoy their talents throughout the year. Thanks to these kids who have helped make this world a better place!Our 2006 Fridge Art Calendar raised enough money to purchase art supplies and lunches for 40 children for one year, as well as tuition and transportation to art school for two (2) children at the Community Family Development Program in Planalto do Pici, Brazil. The response from the young artists who donated artwork was absolutely amazing! They were eager, excited and proud to be able to help less fortunate children.
