Our heartfelt thanks to these kids for their donations and we hope they enjoy their calendar fame, and their families and friends enjoy their talents throughout the year. Our 2006 Fridge Art Calendar raised enough money to purchase art supplies and lunches for 40 children for one year, as well as tuition and transportation to art school for two (2) children at the Community Family Development Program in Planalto do Pici, Brazil. 2007 FRIDGE ART CALENDAR Support children's art and those in need. Purchase a 2007 Fridge Art Calendar to show your support for children’s art. Profits will be donated to Our Lady’s Missionaries to help them support the poor and least privileged children in their Brazil mission. As a Design Coach, one of the first recommendations we make when helping a family get their house ready to sell, is they should remove all distractions. This includes clearing off their fridge. And usually that’s where families proudly display their children’s artwork. In essence, we're asking them to temporarily close their family’s art gallery. This makes us feel sad. |
These highly talented and enthusiastic children teach us resilience, patience and unbounded freedom of expression through their artwork. Kids’ artwork is so bright, honest, uninhibited and creative. It should be on display. So to honour all those kids whose artwork we temporarily displaced, DesignStyleTaste.com dedicates our calendar to their ‘Fridge Art’.
The artwork in the 2007 Fridge Art Calendar has been donated by the children whose families we coached through the Home Staging experience.
The 2007 Fridge Art Calendar also contains artwork developed by some of the children from Brazil who were beneficiaries of last year's Fridge Art Calendar. |
