What a predicament!
Eric and Laurie were just finishing a face-lift to their house when the call came in. A new job was waiting for Eric out west. But come quickly.
To take advantage of this wonderful opportunity, they had to pack up and sell their house … FAST!
How were they going to sell it immediately and still get the money they wanted? What should be done? How? Who should they call?
This is the dilemma Eric and Laurie faced in January. With a baby, two dogs and a cat, they had to make all the right choices.
They packed up and shipped out most of their furniture, leaving only the bare essentials. But now the house looked empty, lonely and sad. They knew it wouldn’t be very inviting to potential house buyers.
“What should we do?” Eric and Laurie asked their Real Estate Agent, Roger Gallibois, from Royal Lepage Homeward.
Roger knew they needed DesignStyleTaste, the home staging professionals. On Sunday, he called us. “Make the house look warm, inviting, loved and lived in” Roger said.
On Thursday, we moved in rented furniture that complimented the style of the house and emphasized it with accessories reminiscent of its graceful age and the fond memories the house held. We enhanced it with design, style and taste.
The Agents toured the house on Friday. The first Open House was Saturday. By Monday, the house was SOLD for 98% of List Price!
Eric and Laurie were over the moon!!! Now they could start their new life out west with no worries and money in their pocket!
